An Evening of Fun

One of the things I enjoy about being home for the holidays is having grandkid fun.  And, tonight was one of those times.

Kourtney and I are decorating a gingerbread house.  While I finished with the dinner dishes

Karen helped her get all the candy pieces separated.  Then, she and I

got down to the fun part.  While I controlled the icing flow, Kourtney carefully placed the candy pieces just where she wanted them.

It sure didn’t take her long to get

real creative.  Great job for a 2 year old.

It was a big project, but with lots of patience and lots of giggles, and even

a little icing on her nose…soon we had

a completed gingerbread house.

What fun!
