And...the question is

This morning Mark and I were up early after a great nights sleep in the Sam's/Walmart RV park. Thanks to them both for allowing RVers to stop over for a nights rest. And, they all have the lights on.

After a quick breakfast, we decided to head on out to our destination of The Last Resort RV Park in Rockport. We were both anxious to get there and meet up with Jim and Ellie. So, by 8:30 we were on our way. We made a stop for fuel just outside of Victoria, where we paid $2.14 for diesel. I'll take that price. That taken care of, it was on to Rockport.

Now, last week Ellie and Jim had made a run over to Last Resort to check out our sites. And, there was a little concern about a tree that Jim was going to have to work around. Mark looked at the pictures and said he thought there would be no problem. However, upon our arrival this morning we found two of the men from the RV park standing in the road studying the tree! This is a new section of the park and no one has stayed on these two sites, therefore, I guess the tree had not posed any problem until today.

We got parked in our site, just fine and were busy getting set up when Jim and Ellie arrived. They left the motor home parked by the office and drove down in the car to check out what was going to happen with the tree. Well, we already knew the answer to the question.

This is the tree in question

I will let you see for yourselves what happened after that...

Sorry Troy and Leann, we had to trim the tree a little to get in

This is the tree after a little grooming. Jim backed in just fine and after we pulled forward and backed up and pulled forward again, the satellite works great. And, now all is good, we are settled and ready to have a good time in the sunshine.

Tonight we met Deb and Rod, of http://www.debandrod.blogspot.com/ for dinner at The Big Fisherman. What a great time of fellowship and fun. As I have said before, that is one of the perks of this lifestyle is getting to meet people for everywhere. And, it is really special when it is someone you have been communicating with for over a year and finally get to meet them. We have already made plans to get together with them again.
