Yesterday, the campground filled up
and
registration was in full swing.
The market vendors
were open for business and the
first timers were in orientation.
Three o'clock came before we knew it, and the
Opening Ceremonies were underway for Escapades 2012.
The Row
had the parade of chapters...of course, I picked Texas!
Scott and Karen
had door prizes under control and
Mary was everywhere with her camera...so watch out!
Last night's entertainment was Yakov Smirnoff from Branson...he was awesome! Lots of laughter and fun!
Today dawned a little foggy and cool. There were a few early showers, but soon we were enjoying a beautiful day.
There were
jammers, jamming, and
shoppers shopping, and
lots of hamburgers and hot dogs to be served.
Everyone seemed to have a great day. Tonight we headed back to the Mathewson Center for the
evening announcements and
more door prizes.
We concluded the day with
George Dyer, another Branson entertainer.

Looks like Mary caught us in her Picture of orientation, Third row I'm on the end and Donna the blond is next to me. Hope to meet up with you guys we are at site y4. Sam & Donna...

ReplyDeleteI think we are missing out by not having joined an orginazation yet. We did FMCA for the tour we are on now, but have never been to one of those type events. so I suppose we better put that on our list.
