On the seventh day, God rested...and so did we.
We started our day by attending
church with Darrell and Judy and Glenn and Sylvia. This was Darrell and Judy's home church when they lived here in Topsham.
What a beautiful
New England church. We really enjoyed the services and what a privilege to worship with friends.
I loved the
beautiful stained glass window.
This afternoon we have all been really lazy. The guys sat outside around the TV and the girls gathered in our house for some good ole girl talk with lots of laughing.
Late this afternoon, we put together some hamburgers and hot dogs and all the trimmings. We continued our fellowship around what Darrell calls our virtual campfire. However, tonight it wasn't putting out much heat and the cool night air finally sent us all to our respective homes.
We were sad to have to say "see you later" to Mike. He will be heading to New York tomorrow to go back to work.
As for the rest of us...After our day of rest, we will be ready to tackle a new adventure come in the morning.
