Sometimes all of my days start running together. I feel like I don't get any accomplished. When that happens, I try to remember that God is always in control and that...
There are two days in every week which should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One is yesterday, with its mistakes, its faults and its blunders. We cannot undo a single act we performed, we cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone.
The other is tomorrow. Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds..but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is as yet unborn.
This leaves only one day...today. Any one can fight the battle of just one day. It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities...yesterday and tomorrow...that we break down. Let us, therefore, live but one day at a time.
Hope your today is great!

Thanks for the reminder of yesterday and tomorrow. I heard that when I was very young.

Great post. Great words to live by, I love being reminded that God is in control. That is a lot more reassuring than me being in control!!
