What a surprise. Early this morning Joe and Sherri called to see if we would like to meet up for the afternoon. Of, course, that was to include a trip to the Winstar Casino. And, of course, my answer was, what time!
We met them in Denton and quickly found a place to have lunch. We did lots of talking and catching up and planning ahead. Oh, my we traveled a million miles over lunch. The four of us have talked so much over the years about the trips we would take and things we would do when the guys retired, and I can't believe that in just a few more months it could really be a reality.
Long after we had finished lunch, we decided it was time to get on with our afternoon plan. We drove up to the Winstar and spent the rest of day there in the casino. I do believe that we all left there with a little more money in our pocket than what we started with. And, that in its self is unusual. Not often are we all winners on the same day.
We drove back to Denton and had our hugs and good byes there. Now as I think about the fun and laughs we had today, even without the casino, I know we are all winners for the friendship we share. Thank you Joe and Sherri for a great day.
Hey great job on the music! We love it and believe it when we say the pleasure was all ours and the time we spend with you both has always been the best. We can't wait to share our retirement with the two of you and believe me you just think we have had fun in the past but nothing to compare with the adventures we will have in the future!
